A scene from Titanic – The Ugly Rose
The next day, Jack and Caledon are arguing on deck. Fabrizio is also on stage, trying to seperate them.
Caledon: If I see you with my fiancée again, I will kill you.
Jack: I’ll do whatever I want. And so will she. Because she loves me. She loves no one else apart from me.
Fabrizio: Come on, Jack! Don’t exaggerate! She slept with all of us last night.
Jack: But I’m the only one who she wants to marry when we arrive in America.
Suddenly, they all fall on the floor, and some ice cubes appear on stage.
Rose appears on stage, wet, covering her face with a shawl.
Caledon: Rose!! What‘s happenned?
Rose: (still crying and covering her face) The ship has crashed into an iceberg and all the water covered me.. (crying more loudly) and it has ruined my make up!!
Jack: Poor you! But don’t worry, come here and I’ll help you dry your hair.
Rose: No, I don’t want you to see me without make up.
Caledon: Come on, Rose! Don’t worry about your make up, I’m sure you’re even more beautiful without it.
Jack: Of course. And even if you’re not that beautiful, I’ll marry you anyway.
Jack grabs her and takes her hands off her hair to kiss her. A „Betty-la-fea“ like face appears.
Jack/Caledon/Fabrizio: AAARRRGGG!!!!
Fabrizio escapes running, leaving stage. Jack and Caledon start arguing again.
Caledon: If you don’t marry my ex-fiancée, I‘ll kill you.
